Good news ?

After Variety, I’ve been shortlisted in another top 10, the dubbed viewfinder 2010 list.

It’s supposed to do for directors what The Black List does for screenwriters.

« The Viewfinder list was compiled by polling studio executives, producers and assistants to learn what their ten best short works of the year were. After the votes were counted, they placed each video on a website where anyone could see it. »

The good news is that THEORICALLY this award makes the film eligible for Oscars.

I did a Q&A with the audience in Annecy with Arthur Des Pins and a few other great animators.
The event was organized by Variety magazine and hosted at the Annecy Animation Festival.

Variety named a list of 10 animators « poised to become household names », and through I don’t really know what that means, it seems like I’m a part of it.
